FAQs
Do you take walk-ins?
We are generally appointment based for tattooing. We definitely try our best to accommodate walk ins, however, it is recommended to call ahead and check out the daily availability for artists. We are in high-demand so most of staff does book out many months in advance. Our number is 443-373-3374
Currently, in these times, we have had higher demand than ever in tattooing. We believe in having high quality artists, and those artists book up and have a higher demand than others. We apologize if we cannot be available for walk ins or are not available quickly, but we take great care in each individual client which takes careful consideration in time, design, and preparation. Each artist has to manage themselves independently so they are also doing their own emailing, messaging, booking, drawing, consultations, and tattooing which leaves limited room in their availability. We are also limiting exposure of COVID by limited the amount of people in our day so this also limits our calendars.
Do you do piercings?
No, we do not currently offer any piercing or related services.
How much is a tattoo? Do you have a shop minimum?
It is not best to give a price estimate over the phone or the internet for many factors. For us to give you the most accurate quote, we like to see you in person for a consultation. This is so we can discuss the size you would actually like your tattoo, your skin type, body placement, and other factors that are only detectable in person.
We have a shop minimum of $100. This means every tattoo starts at this price. Some artists have HIGHER minimums. Every NEW setup is a shop minimum.
How much is permanent makeup? How about tooth gems? Freckles?
WE UNFORTUNATELY DO NOT CURRENTLY OFFER ANY OF THESE SERVICES: WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE
Do you tattoo under the age of 18? Even with parental consent?
We do not tattoo under the age of 18. No sign offs from parents of guardians, no exceptions. A valid government issued ID is required to get tattooed.
Why do I have to wait months for my tattoo?
Put simply, good work gets recognized and becomes high in demand. Since we do custom work, there are many many hours of drawing involved. Our artists are in charge and manage their own business, calendars, social media etc so this leaves limited room in our availability. We all have a great reputation with our clients and are booked up due to their kind referral, word of mouth, and we have great followings on social media.
Why is my tattoo *insert price*? That seems expensive!
Also put simply. Good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good. You do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for the cheapest place, this isn’t it. Getting a good tattoo is a life-long investment. Our prices are supported by many factors including the quality of the tattoo, the quality of our supplies, the artists skills, the safety and cleanliness, the continuous training, the experience we provide, and the custom work created for you. We offer a more elevated, custom, friendly, professional, and safe experience over just any joe shcmoe.
Should I tip? How much is a good tip?
As the saying goes, tips are appreciated not expected. Your artist only makes a percentage of what they charge and then carry many of own supplies. Your artist will also always try their hardest to make a custom, awesome experience for you so tips are a best way of saying you loved them! Typically, like most service industries, it’s customary to tip 15-20% for awesome service.
How should I prepare for my appointment? What can I expect?
Please visit our booking information page to see how the whole process works. If you want the quick answer here’s a few tips.
-eat a good hearty meal about 2 hours before your appointment
-be well rested
-be in good health
-be free of any drug or alcohol use at least 24 hours before
How do deposits work? What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
All deposits are non-refundable, and non-transferrable regardless of any circumstance. We have a 48 hour rescheduling policy. With a 48 hours notice of your appointment, we can reschedule your appointment for you to a different date and your deposit will transfer to the new appointment. If 48 hours is not given, you will forfeit your deposit and a new one will be required to make a new appointment. We do understand that life comes up, but do also understand that our artists designated this time for you and not another client.
Again, any cancellation or rescheduling after the 48 hour notice deadline will automatically forfeit your deposit and you will need to put down a new deposit to make a new appointment. Arriving more than 20 minutes late for your appointment will be considered a no show and you will forfeit your deposit and your appointment. You will need to put down a new deposit to make a new appointment. Not showing up for your appointment is considered a "No Show" and your deposit is forfeited and all future appointments that were held by that deposit or any further deposits will be cancelled. Under no circumstances is a deposit returned to you for cancellation.
Hey! It says you close at 7, I’m here before 7 and you’re not here. What gives?
At times, we finish up earlier than expected. During these times we may decide to head out as a team to spend time with our families or together, as we are generally appointment based. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I noticed that some of your artists have “books closed” written on their profiles. What does this mean?
When a artist is in really high demand, they start to book themselves out very very far with projects. This can become very overwhelming for the artist, and the client to have a really long wait list. It’s harder for artists to plan their schedule, life plans, vacations, and other events in their life when they’re are booked up far in advance. When a artist is booked to their comfortable capacity, they may close their books to ease their capacity and keep a more comfortable pace for themselves and their clients. They can remain closed for many months until the artist is ready to accept new projects. It does not mean they do not want to work with you, they absolutely do! But they are only one person and time management is really important in our field to prevent burn outs, health problems, and messy work.
Can I bring my child with me to my tattoo appointemnt or procedure?
While we love kids, a tattoo studio is not an ideal environment for children to be in while you are getting a procedure. These services require very much focus from both the artist and the client. We need your full attention and there are many dangerous sharps and chemicals that we want to protect you and your loved ones from. Please arrange for child care prior to arriving to your appointment. Please reach out to your artist or to us for further questions.
